MazeMap provides indoor maps and navigation services. We are a 4-year- old start-up, and we already work with customers on all continents. Our goal is to make indoor maps as ubiquitous as outdoors maps. The only way to achieve this is through automation. To support our efforts in delivering indoor maps successfully to international customers, we are looking for a head of customer success to lead our customer success team from Trondheim, Norway.

Marketing and design officer

The opportunity

MazeMap is offering an exciting role for a self-driven and proactive person with the relevant education and experience to join our team as a Marketing and Design Officer in our Trondheim office. This is an international role where you can grow with the company and help make an impact that is seen by our clients, partners and users. MazeMap is a dynamic and international company in a growth stage. Currently, we are 36 employees, 9 different nationalities with offices in four locations globally and growing!


  • Oversee social media and digital marketing – LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc
  • Help with creating blog posts
  • Keeping marketing channels up to date and updating sales team on market situation
  • Sending out email campaigns
  • Support with marketing operations
  • Support with organizing marketing events and raising branding awareness
  • Acting as sales support when required
  • Ability to do introductory presentations to clients
  • Support on marketing budget preparations
  • Experience with graphic design (optional but highly desirable)


  • Self-driven, proactive and eager to learn
  • Understanding of market research techniques
  • Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language
  • Creative and willingness to work in a team
  • Preferably 2 years’ experience with working with marketing

Software Developer

We seek a software developer that can help us to further develop our indoor map service. You will join our development team in Trondheim where you will take part in developing a commercial product used globally.

Technology we use include JavaScript, Python, MapBox, Leaflet, REST and Git. We try to develop our software according to good software development practices in an agile manner, we test our code and we do code reviews. 


  • You enjoy programming. 
  • You are interested in developing both the user facing parts of our software as well as the server code running in the cloud. 
  • You share our excitement of developing products that are used every day by people all over the world.
  • You like working in a team, as you know that we get so much more done when we work together and pull in the same direction.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English as it is our working language.
  • You have experience in coding JavaScript or Python, preferably both.
  • You might have experience in programming geographical information systems or software that rely on maps. 
  • You might have experience in computer graphics or computer vision. 
  • You might have experience in developing mobile applications (iOS, Android).
  • You might have a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or any related domain.
  • You must be able to work from the Norway office.

Manager Europe

Desired experience:

  • Previous experience in evangelist B2B vision creation and selling: The MazeMap solution does not fit into an existing budget line item
  • Experience with channel sales
  • Previous experience selling to Facilities Managers, or equivalent
  • An existing network among our potential customers (universities, hospitals, corporate offices)
  • Previous experience building and managing a sales pipeline across a wide geographical area
