The power of partnership
MazeMap is a leading provider for indoor maps and navigation services designed for large building complexes such as universities, hospitals, corporate offices, and hotels. The platform allows for better user experience and more efficient building usage. Cisco Spaces provides rich location-based services, including location analytics, customer engagement toolkits, asset management, enterprise application integrations, and location-data APIs.
The collaboration between MazeMap and Cisco Spaces allows clients to get a more holistic solution by enabling the visualization of Cisco Spaces data in real-time.
"Cisco Spaces is the world's most powerful location platform and when coupled with MazeMap the outcome is a truly intuitive set of use cases that enable people to explore and enjoy physical spaces like never before."
- Tina Gunderson, Worldwide Sales Leader, Cisco Spaces
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway's largest university. A couple of years ago, MazeMap, Cisco, and Telenor teamed together to solve the university's wayfinding problems. Today, the university is still happy, and business has expanded.
NTNU use indoor positioning, powered by Cisco Spaces. This allows map users to track their location in real time and gain more accurate directions. This also allows students to save time when navigating between classes and be more efficient with their school day.
In large building complexes, such as universities, hospitals, offices, hotels, and conference venues, it’s often difficult to find specific rooms or points of interest (POI’s). MazeMap provides intuitive A to B directions for users, and with the addition of Cisco Spaces, users can also see their exact location live on the map.
Trying to find an available meeting room can be a difficult task. In addition, many people book meeting rooms but never show up. With Cisco and MazeMap, users can see which rooms are available and book in one click, find the closest room to their location, and set-up auto cancellation of meeting rooms in case of a no-show.

Keeping track of limited resources and equipment like IV pumps and ventilators is a challenge in large hospitals, often resulting in doctors, nurses and general staff wasting valuable time locating them. With Cisco's Asset Locater, map users can get a real-time overview of where assets(s) are located and how long it will take to navigate to them.
MazeMap is now on Cisco’s Global Price List (GPL) and our product SKUs can be ordered directly here.
MazeMap currently has the following services on the GPL:
The license pricing is per Wi-Fi access point (APs) and the min order a customer can do is 50 APs. The SKU is stand alone and cannot be combined with the other 3 SKUs.
Find workspaces based on where users are located using their mobile devices or from Webex Room devices.
Users will see a map of the building and floor plan and can search for all rooms and points-of-interest (POI) and see where they are located. On their devices, users can also see their own position in the map as a “blue dot” which updates as they move. If users access the map on a Webex Room device, they can scan a QR code and get the maps on their phone.
Integrations:
• Cisco Spaces for indoor positioning
• Cisco Webex Room devices for kiosk mode
