MazeMap is an indoor mapping and wayfinding SaaS company that started in Trondheim in 2013. Our maps help almost 2 million users a month navigate complex campuses all around the world, such as large universities, hospitals and office buildings. We have a lot of exciting tasks ahead of us in line with company expansion and operations, and want to help our end users have an even better experience using our products!
We create maps in a semi-automated process with the raw floor plans as input, and output a leaner and visually pleasing map where we have identified the rooms, doors, and various points of interest. These maps are the base product that allows us to provide useful features like path finding, booking of meeting rooms / desks / hotel rooms, resource management, etc.
In the years to come, we anticipate to scale to 10 times as many customers.

You are a passionate programmer with professional experience in the field.
You are professionally curious about new technology and new ways of doing things better. You care about developing user-friendly products together with different members of MazeMap and creating a good architectural design to your solutions.
It is also important to us that you have good analytical skills, that you are pragmatic, and that you are a good problem solver. As a senior member of the team, we want you to set and drive adoption of best practices. You know how to prioritize your efforts in order to make the most impact.
We have a diverse group of colleagues, so you must have good communication skills in English, both written and oral.
The work location is in Trondheim, and we prefer that you are or will be based here.
